well, hopefully. and finally, this is the bike i'm going to put my most treasured headset on (since i discovered the kona ain't right, i put it away..):

a bit of an update on the pesenti.. it just keeps going. i still love it, and decided to give it some bling.

replaced the veloce groupset with a mix of centaur bits - 3g levers with many clickz (much wow) and mechs from the silver/carbon era.

i found an incomplete mizuno/selcof seatpost a while ago and had to hunt down another selcof post for the head bits. it took some time, and when i merged them.. bummer.

i was running the bike with a fizik antares saddle and the seatpost couldn't be set up so the saddle nose didn't point at the sky. the front bolt just bottomed out on the yoke.. slr saddle was a fail as well, so i put the matchy-matchy post in the parts bin until i got my hands on a flite again. decided to try that one as the rails slope backward and luckily it solved the problem. never encountered anything like this before.. anyone had similar issues with selcof posts?

thanks! did manage to sneak in one via ferrata before realising something was not right, so not all bad.. :D the place is called Ramsau am Dachstein
