That’s like a smaller version of the Climber, which I’m in the process of returning. The one I got felt absolutely awful.
All the edges on modern SAKs are naff, like they haven’t been finished at all. The one I’m sending back seemed to have loads of casting marks on all the metal as well. Even with better oil the hinges felt shit too. I know things are made to a cost but it wasn’t good.
Yea I was thinking the deluxe Tinker and guess maybe I’m at the point of needing to DIY a custom setup. I love the pliers but don’t need a saw. I prefer a corkscrew even though a posi is probably more useful IRL.
Ordered a Mountaineer instead, but probably the same complaints.
But yea, the Delemont collection seems to be the way forward, but ehh.
The ideal SAK is an Alox Waiter, with scissors and a second small blade. Sadly this does not exist.
