  • Worrying signs coming from London Irish.

    Karma for signing that rapist.

BBC article on the same said: 'Murphy has been handed a "time limited" ban from the stadium and had his distinguished membership removed'
I should hope the time is about 300 years. But it shouldn't be limited at all - what a complete cop-out. And about the only thing that distinguishes this turd is that he is a vile cunt.

Time for a clear-out of the old farts. Get some proper people in who aren't just there for the free claret and blazers. (This is the same RFU that sacked all the community coaches rather than take pay cuts and reduce the hospitality budgets during covid)
"Oh, but we call the referees sir..." - nah, fuck off RFU.

Don't get me wrong, I love the game. But the structure and governance are fucked.

  • London Irish reprieved... (temporarily)

  • Get out of jail free card played in Adelaide this afternoon...

  • London Irish reprieved... (temporarily)

    Very temporarily

  • Tuilagi Jr… 18 ans, 149kg

    Mon dieu!

  • Big performance from the AB's today, awesome defensive performance in the third quarter then they just accelerated away as usual.

    Eddie 0-3 lol

  • He has improved massively since last year.....obviously still got do develop (in terms of condition) massively but actually does a lot of dog and makes a lot of tackles amd carries on the stats whereas last year he was just the massive overweight kid a yard behind every play

  • Pffft. Walloped them. So seems SA/Ire/Fra/NZ and the rest

  • Wales in less shite than England shocker.

Almost looking forward to the WC now

  • Get a fiver on Chile to beat England, quick…

  • I thought we were bad, but England? Lol

  • I’m guessing it was two from him, Marchant and Daly and Marchant played himself in on Saturday.

I’m more concerned about all the eggs being in the Billy basket…

It does rather hint that a lot of Saturday’s selection (especially the bench) was about avoiding injuries in the squad though, which isn’t great for a test match.

(I don’t think the result is any less valid - England are in a bad place)

  • Hoping for a repeat of last week, but looking at the England line up, they are gonna try and appease the home fans a bit.

  • Oh boy, it's gonna be a short World Cup for these two.

  • Ntamack out with ACL injury. France not as scary after also dumping a load of points to Scotland in the second half two games in a row.

England are in for a world of hurt (after celebrating like they'd won the world cup after (BARELY) beating a second string Wales with the best team the RFU could throw together.

Scotland looking FIT (although VdM looking very frustrated).

Looking forward to Ireland England this Saturday.

Scariest for me are a refreshed NZ and a title defending South Africa.

Farrell red card rescinded. Really strange decision as it looked a nailed on red, made even worse by the fact that Basham will need to sit out the next game as he failed a HIA.

  • Cue every oppo goading the smug twat into a reaction.

  • I pretty disgusted with the decision and I'm an England fan.
I like most people who watched it live and replays since see no mitigation at all. I wouldn't call myself an expert in any way but what about player welfare at the very least. Sets a massive and certainly unwanted precedent. Ridiculous in my opinion.

  • Saw Will Greenwood talking about how it was (likely) the same barrister/KC that got England out of trouble for fielding 16 players for a short time in another world cup. He is by all accounts very good (the joke being he almost convinced people that rugby is supposed to be played with 16), but folks now concerned about the precedence it sets. WR looking to appeal the rescinding of the red now.

  • WR looking to appeal the rescinding of the red now

Problem is this is making them look completely ridiculous. I absolutely don’t agree with it being overturned but I really do think they should accept the independent committee decision and move on. They will then have time after RWC to reform the process, if need be.

  • Saw that. It always pays to have a good barrister though 😂😂
