Yep clearance all round is good, especially in the front. Chainstays is the pinch point unsurprisingly with 6mm clearance on the right chainstay and 7 on the left with a 25mm tyre. I’m hoping a true 30mm tyre should fit given the rims are quite narrow!

More bits ordered. I’m leaning towards pink to match an equally loud lemond.

Looks splendid, but for the seatpost

Haha, yeah the post will upset some im sure. But it has minimal setback and makes it really easy to fine tune the angle of the saddle which is important for smps so for now it’s staying.

Go pink!

So made a bit more progress on this. Mostly transferring bits over but got some lovely corsa controls in 30c from @ltc which have come up a little smaller so leave plenty of clearance. Also got a nice wizardworks saddle and bar bags from @lmananimal which look sweet.
Won’t be able to do much now until the longer stem arrives from the far east but very happy with it so far.

Stem arrived on the weekend from China. Looks a bit odd now with the spacer tower but feels pretty good having perched on it despite being pretty low.

This is almost done now. Hoods seem to have perished so will just need to replace these before I pink it and take it for a test ride!

Build was pretty smooth. Cups went in fine and dropouts pretty well aligned. No weird niggles I seem to have found on every other frame. Only weird one is rear cable stop won’t accept ferrule so cable would have to go in on its own or use 5mm gear cable? Bit of bodging with parts bin however has solved this for mean time

Every time I see this thread title I think you're reaching out to me personally, then I'm a little disappointed, then I see the bike and I'm okay again.
SJS have ferrules in tonnes of sizes.

Bike looks great.
I think what you may need is called a "stepped ferrule".

Hehe well all bobs are welcome here!
@Cupcakes I’ve got a few stepped ferrules and none worked. It needs a long 5mm outside diameter small bit as the edge of the cable stop is slanted and the opening for cable is quite wide. 4mm cable would splay therefore without end cap. Not sure what the right solution would be bar a short length of 5mm brake cable and then another ferrule to swap to 4 or 5mm gear cable

First impressions are that this bike is awesome. Fit is perfect from the feel of it, and handling is nice and neutral. I’ve only ever owned fairly twitchy bike bikes so it makes a nice change.
Felt pretty fast, but I’m guessing that’s mainly new bike syndrome, but mainly it felt damn comfy. 30 mm tyres and 1 inch everything flexing away def doing its job. I’m also enjoying the loud pink to match loud yellow

Did you sell the Isen? -

Love the pink bar tape. What is it may I ask?

nope - sitting in shed. Had a few enquiries about it so need to take some photos and move it on to a better home!

Fizik vento microtex tacky - good stuff.
It came in loud colours and was cheap at ~£11 when i found it. Easy to wrap and feels nice. Not quite as tacky as my favourite tape which is gecko grip, and for black tape the wiggle professional stuff is good.

Nice thread, and on the subject of big Bob, spotted this a few times in Chelsea...

Phwoar, I now feel my thread title promised and didn’t deliver. Aspirational levels of head tube there - any idea how tall the owner must be?

Don't quite remember, I've seen the owner riding it, will try to take a picture if I see him again...
I disagree with you, your title / thread delivers plenty!
Very nice! And good tyre clearance by the looks of it
