MTB pedal recommendations for a 9yo?

Building my daughter a 26er based on a jump bike frame as she’s outgrown her 24” wheeled Islabike.

I'd try BMX pedals as they're generally a bit smaller than the big platform pedals that are currently popular in MTB.

The Odyssey Twisted PC plastic come in a lot of colour options.
