Question for you narrow tyre and mudguard people: I have an unremarkable but totally fine early 2000's road bike, and it seems to have sufficient clearance for 23s and full guards. Are PDW the preferred choice for this sort of application? I have them in a larger size and like them enough. I've also used SKS, Planet Bike, Bontrager, etc. Never used classic rolled guards like Honjo and the like.
What would you pick for a bike with some-but-not-lots of clearance and narrow tires?
Bike image for reference. It's a size or two small, but workable until the right frameset enters my life.
