Sweet, 65mm Bluemels are a good choice.

I’m trying to replace a bb un51 with a un55 but cant get it in :-/ my bb tool sucks but thats not the problem.
Solved by trying another bottom bracket with deeper groves for the tool.

So, I got an I-spec B brake lever and an I-spec II shifter. Any hacks available or just go buy the band on shifter?

Thanks. Amazingly its more expensive than the shifter

You and your Alpina's! Looks really good, hopefully more robust for you than the Capo.
Kyosho on the shelf?

about the alpina.. it is binding on the id of the lower cup. the od for the crown race is extended from the base, never seen this before (wasn’t an issue with an integrated headset)

Should have tested it while we had it at mine, I had 4 of them in the house at some point :D

Got a good deal on an excellent condition Campag Chorus Ultra-Torque crankset, so recently put it on my MX Leader. I'm not a weight weeny nor is the bike, but the new combo is noticeably lighter than the alu crank /square taper BB combo it had before. Bike now fully dialled-in and finished, well happy with it.

Looks fun! If you're after a carbon fork and headset for it let me know.

I’ve just got hold of this as hopefully the culmination of various attempts at a road fixed that’ll stick. Much to do, not least replacing the potentially lethal recalled fork, but clearance for widish tyres, space for mudguards and rack/bottle mounts make it exactly what I’ve been looking for for some time.

Collected my 1994/5 Orange P7 from my parent's at the weekend where it's been languishing in the shed for around 25 years.
Originally it had a 130mm quill stem, straight bars, blue anodised U.S.E bar ends and XRAY gripshifts but the casings from those cracked a while ago.
Around 10 years ago I picked up XT levers/shifters, V brakes and some Pace RC35s with the intention of using it again but it never happened. Maybe this time round?!
When I bought the forks they came with a set of rigid legs which I thought I'd use while getting my hands on some replacement elastomers but it turns out they're either for a different model or I'm missing some shims.
At the moment vague plan is to sort the forks and fit some risers and have a fun retro runaround

New tyres and grips for the Pompino. Took the guards off as well so apologies when it inevitably pisses it down for a week. I'll probably be moving all of the parts from this to a different frame next week.

Those fork legs are from a RC30; bodging them onto your crown may result in becoming dieded.
Nice bike tho still…
Really happy with how this turned out. Any recommandations for full mudguards? Was thinking of SKS bluemels in 65mm.
Thanks @MartinOJ for the fork!
