  • I agree. Slightly underwhelming even with the steel case. The back is one of those pry open ones. With that said. I've used my F91W's plenty in water with no issues and those are also just rated "water resistant".

  • Beautiful, my favourite Speedmasters. GLWS

  • Thanks @Regal, same here, but this one is my least worn over the years, so it's on the block... I will probably make it to T4AP on Tue, so hopefully catch up there, and I can berate you about Seiko's falling apart on me...

  • Want one ? Give me a shout .

  • Can’t make next week unfortunately, should be there for September’s though.

    Which Seiko hurt you? 😃

  • It's lovely.

I'm going to, but not for that. For something that you don't stock. Test your abilities

  • I do want to see real life pics of it though. Really curious about it's bracelet

  • Shame! Will try to find the offending watch tomorrow if I get a chance!

  • Happy Friday folks!

  • Getting a bit warm for a steel strap, so back on the gshock.

Really love how effortless and practical it is.
Torch to check on the kids before bed ✅
Light to check the time in the night, instead of squinting at lume and reading the time ✅
Not having to take it off for a shower ✅
Not having to reset the time ✅
Easily changing the time when on holiday ❌

The lack of a simple duel time / home time is my one gripe. I had a cheap Q&Q watch from Chile that had home time display on the front plus a second screen you could switch to idk why the digi screen can't just show your home time.

  • I do like a challenge.

  • This is not the self destructing Seiko

  • No, but the light on 3sec mode is enough to check if my kids are about to fall out of the bed or if covers are too close to their face.

  • m5610

I do want one. But not mad on the red accent, don't want the reverse/black screen and I'm not willing to spend large on the bling all back equivalent (not do I want the extra weight of the SS back). I'd like to have the time to try reversing the negative screen...but that's a couple of years off.

  • Ok get it.

Yeh 5610 is goat I reckon

  • Happy Fri - new addition, always fancied a 16570, prefer black to polar myself, also have a few older tritium dials so wanted something a little newer with hopefully functional lume, but I also like drilled lugs. This 2002 popped up and hit the sweet spot for me - super luminova dial, drilled lugs and solid end links on the bracelet. I love speedie pro’s but I think this may end up taking its place 😬

  • Perfect.

@Condorlini that’s a beauty, but I’m few leagues down from there sadly.

    Happy Friday!

  • @PawG thanks chap, loving that olive bezel

  • 13 years off the sauce on Monday- I’ll be in Australia which means I can claim GST back when I leave. I had intended on buying a JLC Master-Geographic, which I have saved the money for, but I’m struggling to find any excitement at the prospect.

In contrast I couldn’t wait to wear the other watches I have bought over the years.

I think this is telling me that I should not buy the watch.

  • Good work. I think you've answered your own question (probably in the same gut way that you decided to quit the drink).
