Looks great to me, great finish level on the dial, very playful with the light..

Need to find a nice nato strap, I used to order from Esprit Nato but that one require a 19mm and they only do the premium one in 18 or 20mm..

I can't tell if you're being serious but it's a known fact that two of the best 3 bond watches of all time were Seiko - the label printer thingy one at the start of Spy Who Loved Me, and the tracker / video one in Octopussy.

As per my previous Moon Swatch (last to the party gaff) I'm not really a watch person.
Found this in clear out recently anyone knows anything about Basis? 'Digital' lol.
I think I picked it up in a charity shop years back.

Digital means it tells time by displaying numbers (ie digits) rather than moving hands around a dial (analogue). Digital ≠ electronic in the context of watches. :)

Though it might well be both - is it quartz or mechanical?

No one “on here” has the SLA065, do they? Bit of an outlier to be fair

The SJE093 though… I could do a massive nerdy analysis on the tiny differences from the SLA017 (apart from the size). Some details are improved, some are a step backward. I may subject you all to that at some point.

It’s such a good size though.

Mmmm it’s more like the modern SPBs compared to the others.

Also I encourage you to do a fully nerded out analysis of the two.

I need to take photos to show the differences really and I won’t be able to sort that for at least a week, but I’ll get to it. 🤓

A few points from looking over it - the markers and lume are better executed than the 017, but the printing on the dial is a lot better on the 017. The case finishing is ever so slightly better on the 093. But the logo on the crown is laser engraved on the 093 where it’s embossed on the 017. Prefer the 017 strap, prefer the 093 caseback, etc…
