New bike day - quite pleased with this, I've been meaning to sort out something modern/fast for a while now! -
• #531
Yes! Congrats, that looks ace.

Are you waiting for your next bike? 😁

• #533
Thanks - I'm really pleased with it, a proper euro-pro geo

It's science fiction compared to the rest of my collection

Bonkers frame, love it, although the Look text looks rather weird.

• #536
That looks fantastic much better than when I had it.

Made a few changes as it was way to aero for me. Put on my Omniums crankset .
Some new wheels also and some risers

Very nice, your chainset and wheels are very bouji!!!
Love it with risers - hope you're having a load of fun on it.It's an unusual (but good) geometry. The short but slack seattube means it works surprising well for taller riders, especially with the layback post - you end up with a really easy handling frame. The headtube angle is also relatively slack so no problems with toeverlap despite it looking like a proper tight track frame...

Thanks man.
I've a long torso and arms so in exchange for having to lug a load of useless bodyweight around, my bikes have Euro-pro fit without needing to work too hard on flexibility! -

Rih-updates
Shutter Precision Dynamo hub, Edelux lamp, bagman and a 29 L super-C
I did the Arts and Science 600 this weekend - mechanically it held up well but the saddle and cloth bar tape leave some room for improvement on the comfort stakes

Do you still have the Marino too? Still happy with it?
-
• #542
Yep, not really ridden it enough this year. Did all my long distance road rides on the Rih and haven’t really ridden much gravel this summer
-
• #543
I’ve been riding the Look quite a bit lately and got it to a place I’m reasonably happy with

Very impressive, especially on such an old (but lovely) bike. The Look also looks great!

Thanks, I think 600km is about my limit with cotton bar tape and old-style brake levers - cost me some ulnar nerve damage that's still not completely rectified in my right hand.

I’m intrigued how you mow that lawn so perfectly with the flush borders

• #547
This bike's an absolute banger!

• #548
This kicks so much better than again I hX it.

Strimmer around the edges then leaf blower then mow - that’s my weekly work flow

Thanks so much & @chokalateboywonder
Sadly this happened a fortnight ago
Did another ride on it
All going pretty well, the NOS Scott Matthauser brake blocks are giving decent stopping power and overall, it's pretty comfy
