• I think they are worth a couple of hundred quid tops. Tubs are not to everyone's taste and I recently picked up a pair of what I consider to be a better spec of wheel than these for less.

    Don't get me wrong, these are great wheels but in an ever shrinking market for tubs

  • With banked corners and no hills, the track admittedly isn't where all the advantages of tubs can shine, but given the near-zero puncture risk it seems a bit strange they're going away... Any idea why?

  • I don't agree that there is a near zero puncture risk. They're better than clinchers in that you can ride on them if they puncture but the cost of replacement and the faff of stretching and taping the new tyre can be off putting.
    I've got one I need to replace, I've nchers on my ride until i can sort the tub which will be a 3 day-ish affair when purchased.
