PRICE DROP: £1,999... SturdyCycles (Tom Sturdy) Custom Made Road Bike, SRAM Red eTap, Fulcrum Quattro’s etc

I had this made by Tom Sturdy (then Head of the UK’s Framebuilding/Bicycle Academy) in 2019. Unfortunately I suffered a heart attack in Nov 2020 and have had 3 more since(!) This bike has hardly been ridden.

Geometry chart included in pics, but equivalent to a 55/56cms ‘off the shelf’ frame. However, this is anything but off the shelf… The build quality is exceptional, as you would expect from one of the UK’s most highly regarded frame builders. The design was inspired by the GCN handbuilt bike of Si Robertson.. see YouTube video here:

So compact front triangle (for stiffness), long seat post (for comfort), short chain stays (it accelerates like a scalded cat), low BB (to lower COG), etc. I specced the bike for 2x drivetrain and up to 30mm tyres.

I’ve owned some high-end bikes over the years… five Colnago’s, high-end Specialized’s, Trek’s and 3 other custom/bespoke-built frames and I can vouch that this rides better than all of them - without question!
