I hope that they at least offer an opportunity to pay for the COVID vaccine if you are no longer eligible for a freebie.

I find this so weird. Is it still due to overall global shortage (ie still trying to get first vaccines to developing countries)? I can't see how there wouldn't be massive demand to privately pay for it.
