Would a continuity check work? The only issues I've ever heard are wire failures or magnets coming loose. And the magnets would be audible with a shake

Anyone know a way of testing to see if a dynamo hub works when its not built into a wheel? I dont think spinning it by hand will be fast enough to power a light
