By some margin the nicest bike I've owned or ridden. Very reluctant sale

Cervelos of that era still look so fresh and that’s a t of bike for the money

Second dibs on the wheel/tyres if they haven’t gone

Some solid interest for the wheels. If I can secure the same for the frame, and PM or group I'll happily split.
Preference is still to sell complete if there is interest.

Third dibs on wheels. Lovely bike, if I hadn’t just picked up a new frame I’d be super keen. glws

I’m going to have to pass up any interest on the wheels - mainly because of money in not being as big as money out. Le sigh. Good luck with the sale !

At the very end of splittage, i would be up for the 50 34 rings

does this have speedplay pedals? if you split, whats price on them if being sold
-
• #14
I wasn't planning to sell them but I don't need them technically... So how about £40 if I split?

Maybe one for the spotted thread but did I see this riding past on Shacklewell lane yesterday evening?

Will have the wheels if you split - just DM when ready 👌🏻

Ok last try to sell this complete - £1400 all in.
The Bike
2013 cervelo r5 which was originally a Garmin Cervelo team bike, ridden for a couple of stages in the 2013 Giro. I bought it from a GC rider in 2016 after he'd used it infrequently as a spare training bike.
These frames are absolutely amazing - amazing ride quality, light, corner on rails and much more comfortable than versions cervelo made 2015-2021. The only thing which I haven't swapped for new upgrades is the groupset and frame - everything else is ~4-5 years old (excluding things like break blocks which have been replaced as/when needed).
Max tyre clearance is 25c on a wide rim. You could probably squeeze a 28 on a narrow old style rime but I wouldn't advise it.
Condition
This is my Sunday best which means bike has always been kept inside the house (not in a shed etc) and only ridden in the dry. But it has been ridden and loved which means all the usual cable rub, marks and stone chips. Chain has always been checked and replaced in a timely manner etc etc.
Tl;Dr it's a 10 year old frame which I've ridden. I've done my best to capture the condition in photos, if you want more I'm happy to provide.

Pricing
I'd prefer to sell complete but will consider split if there is interest, and I get solid offers for wheels, frame and group (which means we agree a price and you pay me by PayPal /transfer before collection or post - sorry but I've had so much mucking about here in the past).
