Interested. What’s the top made from?

I’m pretty sure it’s some kind of laminate. It could be changed to a nicer wood quite easily though, the legs and electronics are the important bits. I am at work today but will check and get back to you when I’m home, hope that’s ok!

Ive worked with these. You are gonna want to be super careful moving this, if the legs are dragged or pulled out of alignment when moved you risk fucking up the motor or cam positions. May want to consider disassembly for transport, you will at least need two people to get it up or down stairs.
If you can’t handle disassembly or going a short distance, make sure the table is in its lowest position before moving it.
Glws! People swear by these things as a lifesaver. This new one it totally silent going up and down and even has collision detection to save the motor in case of obstruction.
Ok I’ll shut up about raising desks now.

Thanks! Yes I would definitely plan to take it apart to transport - I don’t think we could get it out of our flat in one piece anyway.
And also yes, my wife found this incredibly helpful for her bad back.
I’ve just got home and my daughter is now asleep in that room. I will check the type of wood on the top in the morning!

To confirm, the desk top is made of laminate / mdf type stuff with a beech veneer, it’s very smart. As I said before, if you wanted to upgrade to a higher grade wood I think that would be straightforward, you would just unscrew it and screw the new back on with all the hardware underneath.

OK, ta. I'm looking for something with a solid wood top, so this isn't for me.

Edit: now sold
This has been my wife’s home office desk for the last few years. She has found the variable height really helpful with her bad back. It has to go now because she is working from home less and we are rearranging furniture to make room for our increasingly energetic daughter - nothing wrong with it. The electric height adjust is very satisfying! It goes from 62cm to 127cm with 4 programmable set heights.
Works perfectly, some very light wear but no major damage / chips / scratches etc. and includes all the electric bits, cables etc.
It is quite heavy so will need collection, we can take it apart to help with this. Would need a reasonably big car or van I think.
Here is the link for a new one, with additional details:
