a bike I'm about to order has these on - what did you get?

What hub is this? SRAM, will this work for a shimano cassette? also what are the axle sizes. thanks,
-

It was a Aethos comp - really happy with it!

Yep it's SRAM XDR so won't work with Shimano directly, but I believe it can be converted at a relative modest cost if you buy a Shimano freehub body. Axle sizes are 100mm front and 142mm rear.

They are only DT Swiss rims and spokes; the hub is Specialized own so that won't work

Ahh - do you have a link to where and how much a shimano hub body is and how easy is it to change?

I think this is the part made by Formula for Specialized for Aethos Comp 2022 year wheels

Yep looks like it - version from a UK shop here: https://www.certini.co.uk/components/service-parts/specialized-s192100001-fhb-formula-ta-shimano-11-speed-road-steel-3-pawl-with-threaded-ds-end-cap-fh- 528-rxc-142s--black__60764

Ahha! That’s what I’m considering - what colour did you go for?
Hi - selling a set of tubeless ready DT Swiss R470s with Specialized Turbo Pro tyres (26s). Came with my new bike and used for around 200k or so on before I replaced them so in good conditions + run smoothly.
£100 - collection from SE / Soho
