  • Steve's been around for ever and is not known for ripping people off in any way, probably the last person I'd expect to crop up in this thread.

I guess there is a difference of opinion as to whether there is actually anything wrong with the wheels.

I hope both sides manage to achieve a satisfactory resolution.

Yep, I totally agree. It's why I'm quite surprised.

tbh I feel like a bit of a dick airing dirty laundry here but steves response suggests that its not going to be resolved and I'll just have to contact Corima and either be offered free axles to try https://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=164885 as that was what seemed to be what was offered to someone who had brand new wheels.
I'm not the original owner and they are past the 2 year warranty so worst case scenario I hope is that they will just ask for the 39 euros that the axle sleeves are listed for on the Corima site.
I'm already resolved to the fact that this is likely what I'll have to do. I'm just surprised by the response. Anything I've sold on the forum I would happily refund for any reason even "I just don't like it" would do.

But hey ho, lesson learned, use goods and services no matter what.
