What’s the context or meaning of this in the summer cross email?

There have been a couple of tedious incidents with riders crashing the tape, which is idiotic, but mostly you’ve all been great and it’s been worth our trouble

It's really not that big a deal. I dunno why he's so upset about it. People aren't doing it intentionally 🤷‍♂️

Just tie it back together and get on with heckling. It's all part of the joy of marshalling.

Ha I had a comment from a Marshall saying don’t drop your chain this time. It sounded motivational but it also cut
