Dolan Alu Road Bike

I’m selling my beloved Dolan 7005 alu wave design road bike.

This bike was bought from new in 2000. It’s been regularly raced on, it’s been across the Alps, it’s had a great life. This will be a reluctant sale but I have to make room for newer things. Here’s the spec:

Frame - Red with white wave design. 7005 aluminium. 58cm
Measurements - Head tube - 16cm / Top tube - 56cm / Seat tube 56cm C-C & 59cm C-T
Forks - DEDA Blackforce carbon with alloy steerer
Headset - FSA (only a few months old)
Bars - 3T Prima - 46cm outside to outside
Seatpost - ITM Millenium alloy
Saddle - Prologo
Chainset - Campag Chorus 52/39 with 172.5mm cranks
Brake callipers - Campag Chorus
Shifters - Campag Record carbon
Wheels - Mavic Aksium. Campag 10 speed cassette. Michelin Pro 4 Endurance 700x25 tyres.
Pedals - LOOK classic ARC.
Extras - 2 x Elite alloy bottle cages and Garmin mount.

Whilst I don’t live in London, I work at Stratford. I don’t want to send this but I can meet in London or surrounding area at somewhere mutually agreeable.

I’m not entirely sure how to price this bike. Although it’s 23 years old, I have tried to look after it the best I can. The chain and cassette are much newer so it does run quite smoothly. The tyres are only a few months old and have done minimum mileage. Of course, it does have some battle scars, only to be expected of a frame this age. This bike would probably serve best as a commuter or winter bike or perhaps a turbo training specific steed.

Very fair price. The groupset would likely be worth that in parts - carbon Record shifters in particular sell for over £100

Is this definitely a Terry Dolan? It's not clear from the paintjobt whether this is, in fact, a Terry Dolan.

Definitely a Dolan. I went to his unit in Ormskirk, Lancashire to pick it up in person.

Sorry, it was just a daft wee joke about the number of Terry Dolan logos on the frame – no harm intended!
