So pleased to have found this thread. Long term CDF owner here.
This is my 2012 CdF. It's one of the final straight-legged fork models. It’s the most comfortable steel disc brake fork I’ve ridden (and the most flexible). 🤷♀️
I bought this frameset for £120 (!!!) from Pinkbike in 2013. It got me into road riding and I rode it for years with a horrible bar-end shifter setup. I rode my first double century on that build.
In 2018, it got a tasty 105 R7000 upgrade. I’ve since switched to an inline post and a longer stem to match the fit of my other bikes (red saddle bag pic).
It now lives at my parent's house as a frankly-too-nice-bike to ride when I’m back in Scotland.
