• I'd be tempted to file the TiTo clamp by 1.5-2.0mm, as it looks just about chonky enough. Obviously not a great plan A though, would rather buy a dedicated 7x9mm rails post.

  • I'd be tempted to file

Where? Don't touch the cradle, there's not the material spare. There might be room to mill the two side wedges to make the upper and lower cradle sit 2mm further apart

  • You could just buy the wedges for oval rails for pre 2015 Enve seatposts from Saddleback

  • I have that exact same one and must say it’s shit. Either the titanium shell is in diameter a touch big or the wedge cluster small. nevertheless, if tightened (with carbon paste) properly, it slips. If tightened so that it doesn’t, the saddle rails bite into the side of the shell. Also, it’s almost impossible to make micro adjustments becasue the saddle is either completely free, or stuck in the wedge and to undo it, you need to literally break it free by pressing & pulling on your seat.
    10/10 would buy again.

  • Check J&L seatposts. I bought one on EBay some years ago. Looks good, but clamping mechanism is sh*t. Same issue as @kndl describes.

Suitable for 7*9 and with setback/no setback though.

  • *don’t know how I missed the above post

Have you seen J&L seatposts, they've been around a long time not sure whether thats a guarantee of quality but maybe better than the millions of new companies on aliexpress.
