It sounds a bit sad, but having a nice Volvo estate was sort of a life goal.

Having a car here would be very handy for getting to places with the mountain bike, but I still can’t make myself buy one in order to use it one day per week. Issue with using cabs is that they won’t pick me up if I’m muddy, and it’s always muddy here.

Same - a moderately fast Volvo has been the next car I was going to buy for a few years.

Guess it'll be ok as I wouldn't have bought new, but still a bit of a shame.

I guess the prices will drop now? But will get steadily riskier getting hold of spare parts.

Other way round I’d guess - the demand remains the same but supply decreases.
