  • It's very nice!
He's done alright with this year's birthday pressie!

  • That green is lush. I very recently set up a pair of those tektro R559 callipers on a bike and was super impressed with them. So Snappy. Looks like a lovely bike :)

  • Exciting post today - we now have his & hers Graham Weighs.

  • Thinking silver/black mix for this. Got some Suntour Superb Pro cranks on their way from eBay & hoping I can source most of the rest from my parts bin - carbon Campag Record seatpost, Cinelli MASH bulls, think I have some silver wheels somewhere (though keeping an eye on eBay for something nicer).

  • The bike Gideon doesn't want on this thread. My Charge Plug. Without it we would have probably never met 😅

  • Ha, what do you mean, it's in the title!

The Graham Weigh will hopefully be a slight upgrade. Would say it ought to be a summer bike though perhaps better described as a dry bike with the summer we're having.

  • Needed a pic 😉

  • Been a while since we've had an update here.

Finally got around to starting to sort out the Graham Weigh so we can go on a his & hers GW ride. Just need to figure out some cranks. BB is good but I don't have the tool to remove it, so after some square taper track cranks (not sure which taper it is).

LH shifter on the Woodrup broke (got snapped/somehow became splayed at the brake pivot, odd), so I've donated the Potenza groupset from my Land Shark. It always did need a silver groupset. Having an issue with the shifting mechanism on the RH shifter but hopefully can resolve that.

  • Finally finished off the Woodrup with Campag. I think I managed to successfully repair the shifter but I don't entirely trust it, so ended up getting some other ones from eBay. The weather is totally horrendous so unfortunately not likely to see an outing this weekend, does need a little trial to sort out the gears & whatnot. Think it looks quite smart with the silver.

  • The Woodrup's changes have been a success! Even got @Tor a Mercatone-Uno-Scanavino cap from the York Cycle Rally on Saturday. Just need a Coca-Cola bidon now.

  • Also finished off the Graham Weigh, which is going out on its maiden test voyage today. Rear wheel hub is slightly elliptical so might need to replace that at some point, but we'll see how we get on. Running the classic Leeds ratio of 48/17, & weighing less than the Charge Plug by more than 1.5kg!

  • What is this https://www.lfgss.com/comments/15864834/? proper Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Brazil and Norwich FC vibes lol.

  • lol it didn't last long - frame now somewhere in the loft. I think @Tor was too embarrassed to ride it, plus has much better options these days.
