I've overcome my hate for this project and move on with another handlebar, an artisanal very wide bar ('Mothbar') – but it is just gorgeous, haha what a massive bar this is! Of course now the stem 60 mm stem does not fit anymore, I'll try with a 90 or 100mm. It would be better than this ultra-short reach it would be on the Panasonic, on the Surly here I also have a 60mm stem.
Already I am planning to sometimes get new frame, were I could fit all those parts too. Mainly I want to build a bike around this handlebar, the 1" threaded stem, the Paul cantis and the dynamo.
