Ag2r Citroën's Alex Baudin returned a positive test for Tramadol during the Giro. As it's his first case, his results fro the Giro are disqualified (and normally he'll be fined and has to pay testing costs too)
"Infringements of the in-competition ban on using tramadol are offences under the UCI Medical Rules. They do not constitute Anti-doping Rule Violations. As this is a first offence, Alex Baudin is not declared ineligible and can therefore participate in competitions."
"The substance will also be banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) from 1st January 2024."
