Also got Brompton quadlock mount if anyone's looking?

Yes please!

Thanks a lot, "carrier frame" were the keywords I was missing apparently! Lots of options, it seems that there might be some that work perfectly out of the box, and if not, it looks easy enough (and safe enough, don't want to loose my teeth) to mod.

@general_greyharbour maybe?

I'll charge you too much for something that looks good but isn't as robust as powder coat...
Contact Mario and Winston Vaz and they'll put the bosses in and enamel it for what I'd guess to be sub-£200.

I could do the bosses, I’d charge you like…£30? You’d have to post the stem to and from me and my paint skills extend to clear lacquer or rough rattle can paint.

Or drop off to the painter Ben uses. They are very good

How much for the quadlock mount? Also, is it brand new? Thanks.

• #14035
ESP he uses innit? Could do that no bother.

• #14036
Yeah. I use them a fair bit via him because my local painter gets very busy. I think the quality is actually better and I haven’t ever had an issue/ delay!

Looking at child seats atm, does anyone know why Milian aren't making these anymore? (Or is it just we are not shipping to the UK).

I have one, complete with the clip and saddle, that I paid £140 for and used three times. Anyone want it for £120?* (HoKe gets first dibs)

Brompton Junction in Covent Garden sorted me out with a box, have never been so impressed with a piece of cardboard before, the folds are intricate and the heft is noticeable.
Make sure you go in the afternoon if you need one as they are efficient with their daily recycling and can't give you a box until they've sold a bike.

Hahaha now you know why the bikes cost what they do 😂
Probably the best bike boxes really, orbea did some fairly good ones for a while but you still had a million ties and bits inside!

After an year and a half on a H2l, I bit the bullet and swapped it with a newer C Line Explore.
I can't stress enough how much the 6 speed setup has increased the versatility of the bike, especially with a smaller chainring up front. The 42t chainring is, at least for me, the perfect ratio for touring and general riding, and I can't see myself come back to the stock 50t plate.
I still have a couple things to do, like shortening the chain and add a couple more bits, but so far so good. I'm gonna depart in two weeks for a 10 day journey around France, NL and Belgium, can't wait
