May I recommend you get some fibre washers for the bolts on the PDW guards? you'll want some flex in the fixings otherwise the metal guards are a risk of shearing. I sheard both front and rear guards (and have moved t0 SKS Blumels) - I don't think I'm the only one it's happened to. PDW guards are lovely ofc but really recommend this.
Also recommend dynamo and 65/66gi. Stick with this ratio and you can do anything (except ride the velodrome or compete in CX). Nice build! I hope to see it at the next HDIJ

I think I’d kill myself trying to descend at 40mph at anything lower than 70 GI tbh. I’d say I’m at a decent limit for both up and down with that. Just a bit of HTFU here and there.
Duly noted about the washers. Will try and nab some from work. Nylon will do I imagine.
But do explain, what is this HDIJ you talk of?
Thank you! I cannot recommend the PDWs enough. So solid, the struts are nice and beefy so there’s almost no wobble, adjustment is really easy. Make SKS look a bit crap tbh. No escaping that they’re £120 for the big ones tho.
