Do I sell my Graham Weigh 853 and buy this Principia?
The GW is a bit tatty, but mechanically sound after a service. Seatpost is stuck, albeit I’ve not tried much in anger to shift it.
With a mix of 105 and ultegra of varying ages.Principia seems like an upgrade.

Are tennis balls green or yellow?

Argh, no!

Yellow in my brane.

Yellow, so they provide contrast with green grass ;)
Not to say that some aren’t green. But yellow makes sense. -

It's red so it will be faster.

If it's carbon I suppose it's a few lbs lighter? Buy. Then go all weight weenie and get some stupid wheels.

If it's carbon
It's aluminium. FWIW, I've never sold a steel or carbon bike, but I've never owned an aluminium bike which I wouldn't happily swap for something steel or carbon. Something about them just never lets me fall in love.

Have you ever owned a Titanium bike?

Have you ever owned a Titanium bike?
No, and I never would

Yes would need to be scandium to really like.

scandium
An element which gets almost as much undeserved hype as Ti. I certainly liked my Koga with the Sc doped alloy more than any of the other aluminium bikes I've got rid of, but I'm not sure whether the Sc actually had anything to do with it.

I need a new chainsaw chain but where do I measure it to and from. This one could be 17" or 18" depending on where the start point is

Can't you look up the replacement length on the manufacturer's website?

No indication on the bar?
-
• #118073
Just looked on mine and chain length is marked on the body
-
• #118074
The bar is old and worn so any indication is long gone and ISTR that I actually swapped this bar out from another broken chainsaw when the original bar broke on some way. Therefore manufacturers spec will be incorrect too as different bar now in situ

From your 2 pictures the slide adjustment wont allow the drive sprocket to turn with a 17 inch chain. Seemingly plenty of adjustment for an 18 incher.
Proviso: a long time since I bought a chainsaw chain.
I had a timed demo of this on PS1 and that was pretty much always the first thing I did.
