I'm looking forward to it. It is a two owner bike. The seller got it in '08 and has one of those genuine reasons for selling. A bit rude to ask but I'm sure he'll tell me when I pick it up. It's done 68000 miles, recent new clutch, just had a 12000 mile service, new tyres, new longer Hagon rear shock (might need to change that), all the original factory hard luggage, various Wunderlich parts: rear light, bar risers and touring footpegs.
I've never even ridden a GS before though I have owned a very tall Yamaha XTZ660 Tenere and an R100RT and an RS. This GS is a bit modern for me.
I haven't been on here for about 5 years since I sold both my bikes and I thought I was done with bikes. I'm about to buy a twenty year old full dress R1150GS. I'm getting excited as the days count down until collection. I just thought I'd share. There will be pics.
