  • A fine pint of Guinness was had at Jonny Fox’s this week.

Boasting to be the highest pub in Ireland also the oldest. Not sure those statements are true, but locals and coach loads of tourists like it, because the place was packed.

Saw dust on the floor, every man made tool on display, relics from the past, framed photos of every famous visitor all pinned to the walls, live music, fine honest food, reasonably priced too and the staff just look like they enjoy working there.

Past presidents, prime ministers, monarchs and popes have all called in. It’s a fair climb on a bike from Dublin centre to reach this place.

I came across a Guinness 0.0 bar top pourer at a DUB airport cafe in departures... cans are printed, stored, chilled and dispensed upside down, it’s never going to taste like the real thing but not bad either.
