I've not used them myself, but know of others who are very happy with them.
You'll find out for yourself on Friday.

What kit is this pksy?
-

They are fast, good grip in the loose stuff, maybe lack a little bite over roots, dunno in the mud (but shouldn't be a feature for this weekend I'd think)

Just went for a quick test over in the park. It’s good fun! Rides nicely but Friday is going to hurt I think!!

This, I found the sidewalls were a bit too delicate on the rocky trails I used to train on so I switched to Vittoria tyres which were cheaper and easier to buy at the time.
One of the guys in my club really rates the mud version -

I can't remember if this was answered, is a BC license required for summer cross?
Sorry if I missed the answer -
• #9819
It is, but you can buy a day license for an additional £3.
-
• #9820
When you go to pay on the BC website -
If you have a license it’s £20+£1
If you don’t it’s £23+£1 -

I hope this is the same for EKCX races, I want to give BC the smallest amount of money possible and still race
-
• #9822
Cheers people!

• #9823
It was the last time I did an EKCX race, altho that was 4-5 years ago.

I could possibly get out to Kent for a few.
My birthday is soon, as an Aug 83, when will I qualify for V40?
You missed the link lol
