I went to school with MC Lowqui who's quite big on the Jungle circuit, still making a living from it touring round the UK and Europe. He works a lot with Goldie and the Metalheadz.

That looks good, I may see if I can get along to that.
Never been to that place, it hosts all kinds of fetish parties!

Last Thursday was awesome, every single act was spot on. Rodigan and Roni Size played two massive jungle sets and the orchestra was amazing. Original nuttah tore the place down!
I had just about recovered on Sunday....!

Think I’ve posted this before, but I love this set. Just untold energy. Wicked, wicked selection. The whole set is great, but listen to the reload 13:30, build up of Lion Heart and the way Hearing is Believing Horns come in on the drop.
JEEEEEHEEESUS!

Great release just out on Infrared from J Majik. Proper jungle. First new release I’ve been feeling for a while.

His mind is going to blow when he finds out the MPC has a sequencer 🤪

Picked this up yesterday. Refreshingly unusual, while still being able to fit into a niche of jungle tunes with a name sample (Ricky, Johnny, Scottie - any more?!). What an epic intro!
I knew I’d heard my old DJ mate Ornsman play it and hadn’t heard it in years and years. Going to have to get the other two Goops now, and it’s gonna be costly 😣

Two Chase And Status tracks in the UK top 10, and that Think break sampling Bittersweet Goodbye in the top 40. Massive.

I have posted this before somewhere, but this is real hairs on the back of the neck for me, must have been insane being there.

Pulling out some CDs to listen to in the car and put this on. Was such an awesome mix from back in the day. No filler at all. Some of the best mixing on an official release like this too - the tracks all go together so well. I continue to wonder how these sets were recorded then. I seriously doubt it was one take on vinyl, but who knows. Randal could’ve done it, tho!
So many tunes on here I remember from raving. Just staggering that it’s nearly a quarter century old.

Have mentioned this before, and now someone has upped to YT. Very rare. Comes like an upbeat Pulp Fiction, and that similarity is almost certainly why it got shut down at the whitelabel stage and didn’t make it to a full release. Well, there was a full release with the same name, but it’a a completely different, decidedly average tune.

Helen T tracks are ace. There’s some good ones on here - https://www.discogs.com/release/170938-Various-Promised-Land-Volume-Three
Bagged a couple of similarly chilled-ish releases on Bandcamp today.
