Thanks to @andyp s patience I finally can talk about tyres!!
So I have Schwable G-one bite 33mm on at the mo I’m guessing these are an ok all rounder to start with?

They are fast, good grip in the loose stuff, maybe lack a little bite over roots, dunno in the mud (but shouldn't be a feature for this weekend I'd think)

This, I found the sidewalls were a bit too delicate on the rocky trails I used to train on so I switched to Vittoria tyres which were cheaper and easier to buy at the time.
One of the guys in my club really rates the mud version
