Just back from a post curry party pace™️ ride, I saw ducks, swans, muntjac, a barn owl, rabbits, sheep, a fox and just about managed to not see my curry again. Result.

I've got a chance to buy a set of DT Swiss G540 wheels. Are they any good and specifically will they be any better than the stock Axis elite wheelset already on my Diverge?

I have a pair and they are pretty good for the price point. I’ve given them quite a bit of stick and they have stayed true. The freehub sounds nice as well.

I like my DT Swiss hubs and I have one DT Swiss rim on my road bike that's still acting like a rim should. Wheels is wheels. I don't get excited about them.

Realising my Transition Rapture isnt that versatile and would like something that could take guards, fatter tyres and still go single speed if I fancied it.

Is there anything else I should look at?

I really dont like the look of that geometry. Not aesthetically pleasing to me.
