I generally don't read news much anymore. But I didn't look on El País this morning to see. Thankfully Catalunya coming out in force for PSC. Sad situation though and turbulent without anyone really able to form a government. I do feel Catalunya, and I'd guess Valencia too, are different. Like anywhere there are strong divides between these large 'countries' of different states and people's and problems.

As a friend said to me, the only thing the older folks in Cataluña, Valencia etc. like more than racism is being from Cataluña or Valencia. So as soon as Vox start threatening their language or local institutions they’ll be out on their ears.

Do you have a link for that please? My intercambio partner is old enough to remember people going to jail for speaking Valenciano, so it will be interesting to discuss it with him tomorrow. He has already expressed his disgust at the guy being pro-bullfighting, which we think will also mean more "bous al carrer" (except we can't call it that - haha)
