The replacement roll I bought was too loose on the handle of our lint roller. Shimmed it with loo roll. Finally some real use out of all the shimming of bike things I’ve done over the years.

Have a really annoying 40 spoke 20" wheel where none of my track pump heads fit between the spokes. Old bit of pump hose, connector, valve extender, and zip ties, and sorted.
Will get some hose clamps eventually but this has been working for a bit

Nice (almost to nice for bodge)!

sure it’s been done before but needed a stem mounted support for a light front bag that would clear my light, considered shelling out the best part of one hundred bob on a nitto/jack solution, opted for the £3 rod from b&q instead. will coat in heatshrink and round off/seal the ends

Looks neat. What stops it bouncing up?

will run elastic under the bars and over the stem once i’ve moved the garmin mount
-

Rigid standoff might work better, bolt something behind the light mount up towards the lower legs of your support.

That's really good!
You could slide some shrinking sleeve to the contact area with your bars and stem to protect?(Like I'd done - not so well - here...)

yes + considering running struts up from the fork crown bosses for heavier loads too. but trying to keep it completely removable for now
-
• #2898
yours looks good - will coat the whole thing with heat shrink similarly

Figured that might be an issue.
How about a strut made out of plywood or some other easily cut/formed material? Do a half moon cut out for the head tube at one end and a couple of slots at the other, lock on with velcro or strap of choice.
Not pretty but could be functional.
