I'm afraid they've ceased trading.
There's more towards the end of this thread:

You'd do well to start on the later pages of the Isen thread.. best of luck but don't fancy your chances.

This is from that thread, an email from Isen.
We hope this letter finds you well. It is with deep sadness that we
must inform you of some unfortunate news regarding Isen Workshop. Due
to unforeseen personal circumstances and insurmountable financial
difficulties caused by the current economic climate, we have been
forced to cease trading and subsequently declare insolvency. We
understand the impact this will have on you as a valued customer, and
it is with a heavy heart that we must inform you that we will not be
able to provide a refund for the money you have so far paid, or build
the frame you have ordered. We want to assure you that this decision was not made lightly, and we
have personally exhausted all possible options to try to sustain the
business. Unfortunately, the combined challenges we faced were
insurmountable, and despite our best efforts, we were unable to secure
the necessary funds to continue our operations and meet our financial
obligations. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience or
disappointment this may cause you. We understand that you have placed
your trust in our company and we deeply regret that we are unable to
fulfil our commitment to you.We understand that you may have questions or concerns regarding this
matter, and we are in the process of appointing an official receiver
through the insolvency service, who may be able to advise further what
this means for you and your order.Once again, we deeply apologise for any distress caused by this
situation. We tried everything we could to get your frame built, but
it was sadly impossible. -

Sorry to read this. Good luck.

Sorry to hear this too. I’m afraid it’s not looking great. You’ll probably have to form an orderly queue behind everyone else who is owed money. If you know who is appointed the administrator it will be their responsibility to prioritise who is owed and generally it starts with who is owed the most. Sorry it’s stressful and no doubt upsetting but to manage your expectations it won’t be quick or simple

Sorry to hear this.
Is the business run through a limited company? If yes you should be able to see who the appointed insolvency practitioners are by looking on the companies house website.
If you can identify your frame you might be able to convince them that it’s your property, not the company’s and should be delivered to you.
In any event you should make yourself known to the insolvency practitioners because you are a creditor.
Caren/Matt won’t be able to do anything, even if willing.
I hope this helps

I received an email in February confirming all my details and saying they were starting on my frame that week.
I wonder if my frame is just sitting there

Is the business run through a limited company
There is no company called Isen Workshop or similar.
The only company that seems to have both Matt and Caren as directors is a Scuro Workshop although that isn't showing as being in administration yet

Yes this is the business. The trading name is ISEN WORKSHOP
-
• #21
Yes, that must be the company. There is nothing wrong with calling the company one thing and trading under another name.
Also, nothing here https://www.thegazette.co.uk/insolvency if you search for Scuro. When a company goes into an insolvency procedure it has to be advertised in the gazette. The insolvency practitioner (eg administrator of liquidator) would do that.
So that suggests that in fact the company is not in administration or liquidation, yet.

Yes it will probably take a couple of months for that to appear on the register. Keep checking however, but again, even if the appointment is on there, don’t expect this to be a speedy process to get an outcome on your claim. It’s also important to monitor this as I think you have a limited window in which to claim (I think 2 months). You might be able to file something informal now if they’ve sent you that email about shutting down. (Big disclaimer…I am by no means qualified in this space). Google insolvency claims and it should give you same clarity

Yes, nothing wrong with that but they should have the company name on their website as well as the trading name.

Any luck?
Can anyone help?
I am trying to get in contact with ISEN WORKSHOP but everything is disconnected and socials are not responding.
I have contacted magazines and other cycle shops and they say that's haven't heard anything bad.
I have fully paid for my custom bike and as you can imagine, very concerned.
Does anyone have a way of contacting Matt or Caren from ISEN WORKSHOP?
Regards
Ash
