Anyone sat in a Hay Palisade Lounge Low?
We have table and benches already but want some loungers, are they actually comfortable?
-
• #1330
Yep, they are lovely.

• #1331
do i need the cushions?
-
• #1332
I have them, I'd say no, rarely put them on.
-
• #1333
I'd say cushions would be a good idea - but you can get them aftermarket so not essential

Jesus. That marketing shot.
Nice flowers, Basil. Did you pick them yourself, or did your secretary choose them? What was her name again? Caroline?
She's not my secretary, she works in HR, and you know very well her name is Karina. I bought them because I like the way they look actually. Not everything is about you.
Well once I've finished my coffee I'll collect my things and be out of here. Enjoy your flowers.
Good. Enjoy your Costa coffee - there won't be any single origin for you once my lawyers are finished.

Where to buy a new sofa? Something more modern looking but needs to be comfortable. Long bases and low backs look nice but rarely suit my short legs. Bonus points if i can rest my mug on the arm rest.
Current front runner is probably top end of budget - https://www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-belgrave-medium-2-seater-sofa/p3537166?fabricSku=237458336

If you're in town they have an outlet by warren street that updates stock weekly ish
OR at least they did when I looked a few months back.

We looked at loads of places and ended up going with DFS.
-
• #1343
We also bought from dfs. One of the French Connection ones.
A big motivation was not spending too much on something that would get fucked. But now coming up to 5yrs on with two under 5s I'm pretty impressed. The main sofa that takes a hammering is still looking good. The adult one is obviously still fine.

Also it's funny isn't it how sofas are photographed?
From the height you'd do a jigsaw with your toddler. Not anywhere close to how you'll see it the majority of the time.

Anyone had any furniture sprayed? What are the things to ask/look for in from a spray shop? I have a pine dresser that's not mostly sanded back to wood. Looking for the best (paint) finish for minimum effort and thought I should probably look at spraying rather than painting myself.

What's the deal with these cunts on Facebook? I keep blocking them so they don't clog up search results but there's too many of them
