  • Yes, that must be the company. There is nothing wrong with calling the company one thing and trading under another name.

    Also, nothing here https://www.thegazette.co.uk/insolvency if you search for Scuro. When a company goes into an insolvency procedure it has to be advertised in the gazette. The insolvency practitioner (eg administrator of liquidator) would do that.

    So that suggests that in fact the company is not in administration or liquidation, yet.

  • Yes it will probably take a couple of months for that to appear on the register. Keep checking however, but again, even if the appointment is on there, don’t expect this to be a speedy process to get an outcome on your claim. It’s also important to monitor this as I think you have a limited window in which to claim (I think 2 months). You might be able to file something informal now if they’ve sent you that email about shutting down. (Big disclaimer…I am by no means qualified in this space). Google insolvency claims and it should give you same clarity
