Yep, didn’t bother when I went to HK, only apps that I couldn’t get access to were McDonald’s and toys r us.

Not sure if too late, but I would recommend just creating a new account in the region you need. I did this for us in Spain just for bank apps, Just Eat and streaming services.
Easy if you just download free stuff so don’t need payment deets and you only ever need to sign out/in in the App Store, not your whole phone.
