Topolino. Lovely...just wondering if that rope will stop a Q7 at 50mph.

Is the rope long enough to be used as a lassoo?

I gave up with Bluetooth, but maybe I didn't spend on the right Bluetooth device. Got a tape deck? Or maybe a hidden aux somehwere.

To be honest I expected to never own a car, living in the city & having relatively (40 miles ride over the Pennines) easy access to my mum's when I need it. Recently become a man with a van though, & it has been pretty handy already.

People get a bit silly with modifying these, but I quite like the rather innocent & unaggressive look of ours. Don't intend on changing that much as the previous owner did a pretty decent conversion, but a few small projects:
- Get some roof cross bars & look into solar panels on the roof (don't really intend on being off grid that long with it though).
- Swap the leisure battery USB plugs for a 12v plug, so can use the 12v laptop charger I bought (digital nomad lifestyle here I come).
- Figure out some awning.
- Maybe a Tour de France horn.
First job already complete is remove half the spoiler to fit a bike rack. I do kind of miss it now I've taken a bit of it off though, so might figure out a way to attach it again around the rack.
Planning our first longer trip at the moment, three weeks dossing around France & the alps in September.

Has it got an Aux port? If so I've been using something like this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kinivo-BTC450-Bluetooth-Hands-Free-input/dp/B009NLTW60/ref=asc_df_B009NLTW60/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=310799750591&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=6033694000966385279&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9044909&hvtargid=pla-366540038816&psc=1
in my car for years, works nicely. -

I use one of these on my E46 and plug it in to the Radio Aux socket so if you have an Aux socket these work well.

5w30 and 10w30 will have the same viscosity when at operating temperature.
The only difference (5w vs 10w) is the low temperature viscosity. Highly doubtful that will make a material difference.
Oh and to the original question all oil viscosities can be combined if necessary.

A vehicle being broken, or a spares dealer.

What car is it? I will guarantee you there is an owners group for the model on Facebook where you can source a replacement.

That looks like a generic two pin connecter used on sensors like this here
https://www.pantritrading.com/bmw-wiring-cable-plug-connector-terminal-housing-2-pole-12521427615.html
but it is the two alignment pins that I highlighted here that can differ, you can make other plugs fit by shaving these off with a sharp knife but it is worth contacting the dealer to see if the correct part is available.

Hmmm not sure. The Honda stereo is one build in unit so faffing with it becomes complicated.
So much easier in my much older Audi. Change the head unit for a Bluetooth one. Boom done.

Yes I have this issue in my Subaru. My only real complaint. In the end I stole my parents cd collection and rotate dire straights and led Zeppelin. Also just use headphones for myself. Cheapest solution.

Big fan of these. They have great presence and not that colossal. Also, I think I recognise where that is. Fucking pain in the ass house numbering.
Spotted today. The turbo made everything on the street look like an old crumpet.

Can anyone recommend an inexpensive way to connect my iPhone to my cars stereo. I have an 08 Honda civic.
Bluetooth seems like a good option although I’m not adverse to light wiring.
