Well you’ve dropped a bollock there because they’ve put track ends on the drawing and you’ve built them a beautiful geared bike instead ;)
As for my 2p to what people might want it feels like there’s definitely a market for UK made steel road/gravel/touring/adventure bike with decent tyre clearance, rack and guard mounts etc. and lugged would definitely be a bonus. If you’re buying a uk made steel bike, a heritage aesthetic would fit the bill IMO.
You mention Surly, Brother, Crust and Thorn.
To me Bob Jackson is separate from all of those.
Surly is a bit boring, and American. They’re great bikes but a bit uninspiring. Crust are more interesting but American, brother are great but they’re Taiwan made. Thorn are great, but they’re not the most beautiful.If I wanted a UK made frame, a nice lugged gravel bike of sorts, BJ would fit that remit perfectly.
