I did Waterloo to Warren Street (and back) for years. I’d say the time compared to the Northern Line is similar (would probably depend how you caught the bike crossings at the top of Waterloo Bridge). Bit faster downhill on the way back.
Way, way preferable (in any weather) to the tube for me though.

do you think that is faster than the northern line all in? i go to goodge st once a week from waterloo and am considering a brompton... but at the same time probably dont need one
