Do it! I'd like to say 'wait for a cheaper pair' but vintage Sidis have become a Collectable. I'd have snapped these up a few years ago when I had a bit of a boot shopping problem. You can restore the finish of the caramel areas with some Saphir cream http://www.avel.com/saphir-beaute-du-cuir-32/produit/41-creme-surfine-saphir-beaute-du-cuir-32.html
If you have a friend with size 5 feet I can sell you a NOS pair of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/314686980390

We used to have a shop here in the midlands that always had bargain bin full of wacky coloured 80s and 90s motorcycle stuff, you could grab a pair of vintage gloves for a fiver.
Long gone now, as are all the bargains....= -

These ones are structurally sound and could look mint with some pampering. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325716409625. Not sure about the yellow plastic though. It would look like you had traffic cones on your feet. Maybe it could be painted.

Shitditch?
@Jung Yeah EFI. The lower mesh is a breeze and I've cleaned it loads of times. The high pressure inner one seems to have accumulated a lot of shite from the bike sitting still for nearly two years. Cleaned it a couple times so far, but now the pump primes, but sounds clogged. Bike bogs after about 500m
Complete used pumps are fucking obscenely priced. -

I like most of their quizzes. Simple, but whith some fun facts.
I got eight and I own a guzzi. -

Last year I missed out on some Acid Worm patterned gloves, on the rationale I’d not wear them.
Regretted every day since.

So, my Honda currently has no MOT (1978 therefore exempt)
Would I need to get it MOT'd in order to ride it legally over in France for the weekend?
-
• #23712
No, maybe, probably best to get it tested.

Sorry but there’s not a clear response.

Hub cleaned up fairly well at least!
A set of Excel Takasago rims is on the wish list for the XTZ and I'll have all of this ahead of me! -

Excel Takasago rims
That's what I need to be like-for-like on this hub. I think the wheel is worth more parted out as a hub, than rebuilt with a new rim... so that's my issue.
I could probably sell it cleaned and un-laced, and even sell the spokes, and return more than the break-even cost of the rebuilt wheel.

Any way you can cut it out and plumb a new one in? You can buy aftermarket filters.

Can you stick up a pic?

Harley
Can it keep up with the peloton?

It was level with a referee's car. So, no.

Was meant as a sarcastic comment, on revenue generation for the local authority that is made many times on bike forums why charging happens.
Is the filter plastic and could it be plastic welded?

Any damaged spokes?

Doesn’t look like it. None bent, all come off okay.
