  • Don't understand what is so difficult about taking out a rear wheel. It is like any other three speed hub. Or are the others more difficult?

  • Its a bit harder because the chain tensioner is in the mix. And the brakes don't have quick release so invariably you forget and have to deflate tire to get back in.

  • Right, but on top of what @sheppz says, I am guessing that 99% of Brompton owners don't own any other three speed IGH bikes and therefore are not used to the process of unscrewing the little chain thingy and so on and so forth. Compared to a normal road or mountain bike with a normal derailleur, I think everyone would agree that its more time consuming/difficult.
