Flamingo Land sleeve sponsor of L**ds.
Lovely stuff. Budget meets budget.

How dare you, I've a lot of formative childhood memories of Flamingo Land ...

Me too. Which is why I can see how well suited they are!

Full support to Dele Alli for having the courage to speak about his childhood and struggles with addiction.

Never liked him until now. Good lad, brave thing to do.

Ashley Young confirmed as Dyche's first Everton signing. New days of financial prudence at Everton?
On Alli, although it may surprise some, there are a few players (Keith Treacy and Aaron Lennon spring to mind) who have spoken really positively about how Dyche helped them with their mental health problems and hopefully it will be the same with Alli too.

Ashley young for coaching skills ?

Very brave of Alli.
He can be an absolute monster of a player, if someone can help him mentally.

Potential for a combined fullback age of 72 next season.
I was initially a bit down on the Young signing but with my sensible brain on: He played nearly 30 games last season for a Villa side who finished in European places and had a stonking second half of the season. We are very weak at left back, indeed we played with no recognised fullbacks at all for the crucial last game of the season. So from that perspective he’s an entirely sensible signing and anyone who keeps themselves fit enough for premier league footy at 38 deserves some respect.

Is there something in the water in Southampton?

Was really good in his second coming at Villa. Incredible to still be performing at this level.
Will be solid for you. Still a bit disappointed we didn't keep him around in a coaching / mentor role for another year. -

I usually love hot ones but I had to turn it off two thirds of the way through. He seems like a nice guy but fuck me he's dull. Couldn't have been a worse contracts with Lewis Capaldi on last weeks episode.
-
• #165967
Well yeah. But comparing Harry Kane to Lewis Capaldi is a bit difficult. Both of them can perform in front of hundreds of thousands while they're breaking down mentally and physically. Just one of them is allowed to be more expressive. If Harry Kane, captain of England, suddenly started shouting "fuck me, that's a fucking hot fucking sauce" and all the other entertaining stuff Lewis is allowed/has no control over, then IMAGINE that.

Sounds like fun. I'd tune in.

On the actual signing, seems very promising but had never heard of him up until a couple of days ago. Thinks are very different now compared to a couple of years ago when we were waiting to see who we had snapped up from Stoke.

Jordan Henderson fucking off to Saudi

Hopefully that’ll be the end of his England career as well.
They did meet in the Champions League not long ago. Final score Spurs 2-7 Bayern.
