I've never found a merino mix which is nearly as good at insulation as pure merino. It's amazing stuff. If only it was easier to look after.

Currently trying out the Brynge synthetic and woollen mesh T shirt options - both seem to be doing the job quite well which is eye opening for me as synthetics have never been my favourite because they usually stink up so fast and don't feel as nice as wool. The synthetic is substantially cheaper, but yeah, plastics...
