I witnessed an accident where a builder working on a house in the street reversed off the drive into a learner driver (private car if that is relevant).
From what I witnessed completely the builders fault.
A few weeks later I get a rather pushy call from a claims management company acting on behalf of the learner driver telling me to fill a witness statement they would send me.
I am slightly puzzled as to the involvement of a claims company.
When I queried this with the management company and it became clear it's none of your business wasn't going to cut it as an answer they went on to explain it was so the Lerner avoided losing their no claims bonus and paying the excess on their policy.
I've been involved in two no fault claims and neither involved me paying the excess or losing any no claims bonus.
Probably legit, but wondered if anyone had any thoughts or experience on anything similar?
Claims management company question.
Has anyone delt with a claims management company?
