Where are you based? In SE London I can recommend The Watch Polisher in E. Dulwich. They will swap batteries and do a case pressure test for very reasonable fee.

I personally would give it to Seiko / GS. I don’t think they’ll charge you silly money (relative to what it’s worth) and you want someone that knows what it is and isn’t careless with it.

Assuming it’s 100m water resistant they will also check the caseback seal which will maintain any warranty.

Looks a bit murky for trout?

Looks it but actually quite productive for them (not tonight, missed 4 not concentrating). Think it’s a bit murky because of all the rain yesterday. Was much deeper than usual

I had been looking at those mark 2's at a local shop that had them for sale a few years ago, there was one with orange in it which was quite nice but I found them way too thick

Yeah they did a racing dial one, also a reissue in the 2010’s I think, yes too thick and top heavy for me which was a shame. I went for a moonwatch in the end which is much more comfortable
